Hi, ya’ll, and welcome to 8-bit Grapevine, a gaming weblog where I will be searching for and spotlighting as many indie game developers as I can find.

My goal with this site is to look for small, up-and-coming indie game devs and to showcase them and their recent projects. To start this project of mine, I will be mainly writing two types of articles: 

1.  Spotlights – these are meant to platform the game devs themselves as well as any games that they’re working on / recently released. As the name suggests, I plan to use Spotlights to shine some light on devs, including a brief overview of their work, hopefully some Q&A’s, and maybe some announcements/

And

2.  Reviews – reviews are going to be more traditional pieces on the individual games. These may or may not come out in conjunction with Spotlights. They are meant to be more critical than Spotlights, and they should not reflect on the developers as a whole.

As I get the ball rolling and get back into the feel of writing a blog, I may add more different kinds of pieces, such as news, release schedules, top 10’s, etc., but I plan on keeping my focus on these for now. I also plan on making video versions of my articles for YouTube, so please look forward to those.
